I worked for Nirvana, the Melvins, toured with Hole and played guitar with Beck. Nirvana played Raji’s once. He lived in Seattle/Aberdeen. How and why would he be “hanging” around Silverlake or a tranny bar in the 80s at its deadest period? When he did move to L.A. in 92-93 ish. Kurt and Coutney lived by the Hollywood Bowl off Hightower. Having lived in SL in 80-90 most angelenos couldn’t even find silverlake or echo park.
